The Texas A&M University Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management programs help students grow into leading conservationists, scientists and policymakers, advancing sustainable, productive ecosystems around the globe through science-based management.

That level of impact starts with the integration of the biological, physical and social sciences. Our science-based programs not only train you to address the evolving challenges of natural resources — they also exceed standards set by professional organizations such as The Wildlife Society, Society for Range Management and American Fisheries Society.

Supported by more than 30 nationally and internationally recognized faculty and a network of wildlife, range and fisheries extension and research specialists, our students go into the field to study and research modern issues facing natural resource conservation, expanding both their knowledge and impact. Urban wildlife research is being conducted in the Werdel Wildlife Lab website, led by Dr. Ty J. Werdel.
