UWIN hosts an international summit

Lincoln Park Zoo’s Urban Wildlife Institute hosted the second-ever Urban Wildlife Information Network Summit, bringing together over 40 scientists from ten countries.

Together UWIN members, with support from local partners-- including scientists from The Field Museum and Perkins & Will Architectural Firm--worked to advance urban ecology research and frameworks to think globally and act locally.

From urban planning sessions to kayaking the Chicago River, we’re hopeful for a better future with these minds at work.
